I am loco for the Taco Loco - it is a low carb lovers delight (vegetarians look away now): They make the “tortilla” for your taco from seared cheese. There is chicken and beef with guacamole inside. I love the salsa verde. Everything is made in-house from scratch: the spicing on the meat, the salsa. Love the salsa verde - roasted jalapenos pureed with the oil they were roasted in is a personal favorite. This is a 5 star for what it is: This is a locally owned and run spot running out of a strip mall. Ample parking. Dietary considerations are honored. Easy access for people with disabilities. This is proof you can take everyone’s needs into consideration at affordable prices. Great quality for your money.

I came here at about 3:30pm today to get food for me and my grandma (who loves this place now by the way) and the lady and the front was the kindest person ever. She gave me a recommendation to try the taco loco which was so delicious and the chips and salsa were to die for. Can’t wait to come back, this place is amazing.

Dos Batos is an amazing hole in the wall. When you walk in, you immediately smell the delightful wood fired ovens. My fiancee and I both got a premium taco without understanding the sizing. We bit off a bit more than we could chew, but it was amazing. Fresh flavors combined with a chill atmosphere makes this a wonderful hidden spot.

Very authentic tasting food with a flavor of northern Mexico. The wood fired tacos are my go-to. The tacos are pretty pricey 5, but they're well served. I always get the topochicada which is a limeade with topo Chico. If you're doing Keto, you can also get a carbless 'cheese tortilla' (Taco Loco). Every taco order also comes with chips and warm salsa, which makes it feels very homemade. The salsa verde they have at the counter is also hella good and spicy This place is one of those places that aren't too popular, but one my favorite spots in Austin.

Holy moly they might be the best taco chain in Austin. We are PICKY when it comes to tacos and they definitely won our hearts and stomachs! The pollo and steak piratas were very tasty and the queso and beans are an absolute do not miss! My one issue is their prices. For two people to eat their fill at dinner we spent 70 after tip, which is a lot for 5 tacos queso and beans, but the flavor is worth splurging once in a blue moon.

The shining star of Tacos and queso in the Austin area, Dos Batos encapsulates the word smoke, bottles it up and packs it into the savory tacos they have been serving since 2010. The single location located in the Walmart parking lot, has been consistent 100% of the time regarding their northern Mexico style food. starting off with some Queso or elote sets up the payoff of the tacos. The Pirata, a carne asada/steak, cheese and avocado Taco is my favorite and showing is the premium version. Triple the size of a regular. Vegetarian Don't worry, there is some options for you like the Ostin. If smoke is too much for you, you can ask for a non-smoky version which would include pastor brisket and carnitas as well as some other options. Oh, and there's plenty of salads for you herbivores. Make anything a combo and they can accommodate most allergy restrictions. With the addition of happy hour and micheladas, you're now able to enjoy some adult ravages with your meals. Please drink responsibly Don't forget to say hey to the hanging Cheech and Chong If you haven't got a chance to hit up Dos Batos wood fire tacos.
